Nothing horrible, or anything.

Part of the moving plan was that the horses that are on the land would be staying in the stables and half the land until about October time. We found out this morning that the people who we've bought the farm off are moving them off early - in mid July - so we'll be able to get started on the stables a lot earlier than planned. 

As well as trying to reduce our energy consumption, we also want to reduce our carbon footprint.

Strange as it may sound, our carbon footprint in the UK is better than it should be, due to us already having switched to a renewable electricity supplier.

I have a goal in mind for us moving to Alledal and how we're going to live.

In the UK we tried to do a bit to save energy, and made some efforts, but I'd like us to make a proper effort for our new life in Sweden.    

With just a few weeks until we move into Alledal, preparations are underway.

Plans are in place for the first of the poultry and fruit and veg to be introduced to the farm. Watch this space for more information soon...
